This group of paintings is called inner
journey's because the dreams or visions
were symbolic in some way of significant change and growth in the individual
having them.

yet I am riding my favorite horse in
the world, High Marks, who I didn't get until much later in my life.
We are wandering along without any
great purpose until I see that there is a snake to one side, and then further on
I see another and then another until
the snakes are everywhere around me.
I hear my snow leopard totem animal scream off in the distance and I look to see
he is watching me from the top of a mountain.
I know suddenly that I am safe.
The stream of snakes has grown as I
looked away. High Marks stops to inspect a
small round cactus in front of him
with a tiny owl inside it. He stands relaxed ignoring the snakes.
As I look down at them I see a
pattern forming. It is an indian medicine wheel and I am standing at the center
of it with snakes coming at me from the four directions now.
They reach my horse and begin to
climb his legs. He doesn't seem to notice at all.
The stream across his body and onto
mine. I can feel their strong muscles and soft
warm skin as they slide over me and
begin to climb my body as well.
I sit there frozen in place watching as more and more of them climb over me and
soon I can't see anymore. I am in a living breathing cocoon of snakes and it is
unbearably
hot inside. My skin starts to crack
and my blood to boil and I feel myself come apart
slowly. Now I know what the small
worm feels when it releases its old way of being
so that it can be something new. It
is terrifying but also exhilierating and I wake up
wondering what I will be like now

In this vision, I saw several Goddess's & Gods standing on the
tops of the Koolau mountain range in Hawaii just at sunset.
They were looking down at everything going on on Oahu and talking to each other
about it and us.

(Oahu Initiation Dream)
In this vision I was sitting on the beach in Kailua, when I saw a hole
open up in front of me.
The fire elemental (volcano) pulled me into the hole and I was annihilated as I
passed through the portal.
I could feel the dissolution of my form and mind as I passed through the
lava and
reawakened to my mind/body as I emerged safely in the womb of the ocean.
I felt surprisingly weightless and young in the safe arms of the water (ocean)
elemental energy below.

In this vision I was walking out to meet the
converging elements as the water (ocean)
and air (Clouds/Winds) elemental energies came towards Oahu and turned into a hurricane.
I saw
it as a huge being,
half water and half air standing up and stretching lazily as it decided whether
or not to move through the islands.

This is not from a dream. This is
what I see every time I go to the beach with my partner.
He loves to float in the ocean no matter what kind of weather is happening
around him.
Every time I watch him, I see him being held like he is a baby sea otter by it's
mother.

In
this dream I was floating in space as my higher self; still with a mask that
society had given me as I grew up.
Above me were surrealistic clouds with lightening flashing around me and below
me were boxes of old photographs
of everything and everyone in my life spread out like a city. A huge volcano was
erupting in the middle of the boxes
of memories and the boxes slowly melted and tumbled into the volcano. A phoenix
rose from the explosion and I
could see from above that it was my energy finally coming into its own.
