I have been involved in breeding and raising papillon dogs for over 15 years. I met my first papillon in Denver Colorado at a friends who had adopted (Samantha) an older female papillon from the Humane Society.
In spite of the abuse this dog had suffered in her previous life, she was bright and wanted very badly to please and bond with her new family. I was very drawn to her and so began to search out reputable papillon dog breeders in the area to find out exactly what these dogs were really like and the more I found out, the more I loved the breed. We (My daughter (Ariel) and I) bought our first papillon soon after that and have never looked back. We love this breed and have been successfully raising and training our own and then learning to breed them to standard so that we help keep this lovely breed of dog the way they are meant to be. A truly wonderful companion dog for all occasions.
We began producing show quality puppies immediately from our male Athame's Magick no matter who we bred him to and then we acquired Talisman from Happy Tail Papillons in Nebraska. Between the two of them we have not had one puppy that wasn't show quality and extremely affectionate, social and well balanced. My daughter is now in Evergreen College in Washington State, missing her puppies and I have moved to Maui, bringing our dogs along of course. I hope that anyone interested in a great companion dog as well as wanting dogs who love to hike and play as well as settle in on a good lap and cuddle will look us up and stop by to meet us when you can.
