Completed three extra months before practicum/internship began and three months after practicum/Internship ended, working under Dr. Carol J. Schneider and specializing in counseling head injured clientele and post traumatic stress disorder. I utilized transpersonal theory, relaxation techniques, art, movement, dream therapy, equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted learning in therapy sessions along with more traditional methods and testing procedures and found these to be a remarkable tool with this type of clientele. This came to an additional 720 hours of direct experience beyond the practicum/internship.

I’ve been an artist, a systems engineer, did all but one quarter of a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology before I incurred a head injury and had to switch to a less math intensive major. I have had six majors in college before almost completing Molecular Biology and then completing a BS in Psychology. I love reading, I have ridden and trained horses for most of my life and I love doing art of all kinds, but especially painting, writing, & photography. I enjoy working with people of all ages.
