Impeccably bred. High Marks is by *Gondolier out of Mark IV Evergreen. *Gondolier, perhaps the most successful son of Palas, was the Polish National Champion Stallion in 1980 and the World National Champion Stallion at Salon du Cheval, Paris in 1982.
He is well known for producing Racing, Dressage, Western Pleasure, Reining and working western horses. *Gondolier, together with Mark IV Evergreen, produced FOUR US and Canadian National winning get  in reining, trail, and western pleasure (Mark V, Mark VI, Mags Mystery and Marliera.)
Mark IV Evergreen us a daughter of the renouned *BASK++, who is the only stallion to be a U.S. National Champion Stallion and Park Horse and is the breed's all time leading sire of champions and National winners, as well as National winner producers.
*Gondolier lived a great and influential life until the age of 33. His memory and his influence lives on in his son High Marks (one of only three direct line stallions with this bloodline in the U.S.).
